About us

Grandpa John was born in 1935 in Moldova. During World War II unfortunately John's mother passed away so he had to help support his siblings. He began working for other local farmers in any way he could. As the War ended John bought his own farm for raising crops and animals. Throughout the years he raised hogs, hens, goats and turkeys to feed his family and the community.

Growing up, John's grandson, Max also developed the love for raising animals and crops. Max spent his summer breaks on grandpa John's fields learning to grow the animals. John taught Max to love on and naturally care for the livestock to raise the highest quality meat and eggs.

Today grandpa John's legacy still lives on in the state of Washington.

Grandpa John's farm continues to raise their animals naturally on the pasture. Aside from the grass and natural forage our animals are fed natural grain that are grown on the fields from farmers in the state of Washington.

Dorper Sheep

We raise pure Dorper sheep. These are a South African breed which is known for its high quality lamb meat. They have a very tender, flavorful taste.

Hogs

We raise Shire and Duroc mix hogs. Both of the breeds are considered to be one of the highest quality meat. It consists of a tender, marble like meat which makes it an intense juicy flavor.

Emu

Our most curious and yet friendly animals on the farm. They love observing everything and everyone and they make great friends with the rest of the animals.

Poultry

We raise healthy mostly in the outdoors hens that make high quality eggs. We also have wonderful turkeys, ducks, geese and roosters.

Cats

Last but not least we have our most beloved barn cats. They are extremely friendly especially to all the animals on the farm. They love to cuddle and play with the kids.
